AARNet provides links to Asia, North America and beyond

The AARNet network's dedicated high-capacity links to North America and Asia interconnect Australia's research and education communities to more than 120 other research and education networks worldwide. AARNet's network architecture includes several international points of presence (PoP) sites in the United States, Asia and the United Kingdom.

Our international network collaborations

AARNet is part of the global network of research and education networks. It’s an international community fuelled by a strong collaborative spirit and a drive to push technical boundaries. These are some of the initiatives:

Global Network Advancement Group (GNA-G)

AARNet is a partner in GNA-G, a community of network professionals from Research & Education (Networking) organisations from all over the world, working together to develop a common global infrastructure to support data intensive collaborations.
